Edible & Medicinal Plants - Guided Hike

Learn about several edible, medicinal and useful plants on a guided 1 mile hike.

Come enjoy Buescher State Park on the trails while learning about what your ancestors gathered from nature for survival!  Also learn about interesting medicinal properties that nature has to offer! 

Meet at the scenic overlook - Parking is limited and parking along roadway is not allowed so please carpool if you have a large group and arrive early. If the parking lot is full, you can park at the "scenic overlook" pull off parking area located before the actual scenic overlook parking area and walk the road up to the true scenic overlook parking lot where we will be meeting. 

Bring water, wear close-toed shoes, and sunscreen.

Moderate level of activity, 1 mile hike, some elevation change and uneven terrain on one mile hike.

Program is free after park entrance fees have been paid.
