Hike off the Turkey

Take a hike through the forest with a ranger to hike off that Thanksgiving meal!

Accessibility: Parking will be available at Day Use. Restroom available at HQ. Drinking water is available at nearby water spigot. Path to program is pavement and flat grass. Hike is on primitive ground consisting of steep elevation changes, steps, and trip hazards.

Program Expectations: Learn about the various natural habitats Caddo Lake State Park and hike off that Thanksgiving meal with a 1 mile hike!

When: 10  - 11 a

Where: Pine Ridge Loop Trailhead

What to bring: 

• Water
• Sunscreen/bug spray
• Hat/sunglasses

Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
