Hooks and Rods

No fishing rod? No problem! Borrow one from us and fish in Saw Mill Pond.

All ages are invited to take advantage of our free Tackle Loaner Program. We’ll be set up right by the water with fishing rods for you to borrow and live bait for you to use (while supplies last). If you’ve never tied your hooks with fishing knots before, a ranger will be available to show you how. 

Where: Fishing Pier

Bring: Drinking water, sun protection, bug spray… and a camera to capture your catch! 

Cost: Free with paid park admission ($4 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
