Leaf ID Hike

Part scavenger hunt, part plant identification and 100% about celebrating our amazing outdoor spaces!

Join us for this special Earth Day hike! A ranger will guide you on this hike while you search for different plants using an illustrated scavenger hunt. It's a great way to learn how to identify the amazing plants that grow in the park. Which ones will you find? 

Trail distance is approximately 1.25 miles (2 km) and includes the CCC Cut-Through and Caddo Forest Trail. Hike requires walking up/down hills and stairs, and across uneven ground. All ages welcome. 

Where: Meet at Amphitheater

Bring: Drinking water, closed toe-shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, and weather appropriate clothing.

Cost: Free with paid park admission ($4 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
