International Dark Sky Star Party!

Caprock Canyons State Park is now a certified INTERNATIONAL Dark Sky Park! 

We have the best astronomers in the state! :) 

Come out to NORTH PRONG parking lot and peer through amazing telescopes to see galaxies, constellations, moons, and more!  

Learn from members from Amarillo Astronomy all about the night sky, planets, and Caprock nightlife!

• May 16th @ 8:30 pm
• Dress appropriately and bring water
• Red lights encouraged- Dim headlights when entering North Prong Parking lot
• Bring a chair or blanket. (Something to sit on) 
• Bring your curiosity! Our Astronomers love questions!
