Archery 101

Come out and learn the fundamentals of archery at Cedar Hill State Park!
Join us to learn the 11 steps to Archery Success! During this instructor-led program, archery coaches will walk you through the basics of how to use a Mathews Genesis bow and Easton arrows. All bows, arrows, and instruction will be provided by Cedar Hill State Park.
Registration is required.
Individuals must be at least 12 years old and have the ability to draw back 10 pounds of weight.
Space and materials are limited- please register by emailing Thomas McDaniel with your name and the number of participants in your party. Registration closes at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 2nd.
When: Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 from 10am-12pm.
Where: Penn Farm- follow the signs from the parking lot to the field near the Admin building.
Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Parks Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
