Archery 101

Come out and learn the fundamentals of archery at Cedar Hill State Park!
Join us to learn the 11 steps to Archery Success! During this instructor-led program, archery coaches will walk you through the basics of how to use a Mathews Genesis bow and Easton arrows. All bows, arrows, and instruction will be provided by Cedar Hill State Park.
Space and materials are limited- please register by emailing Thomas McDaniel with your name and the number of participants in your party. Registration closes at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 4th.
Individuals must be at least 12 years old and have the ability to draw back 10 pounds of weight.
When: Saturday, October 5th, 2024 from 9am-1pm.
Where: Penn Farm- follow the signs from the parking lot to the field near the Admin building.
Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Parks Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
