Bluebonnet Bark at the Park

Bring your pup for a springtime walk along the lake!

Bring your friendly dog along for a guided 1-mile walk along the shore of Joe Poole Lake. Enjoy the spring weather and make some memories among the blooming bluebonnets!

All friendly dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash at all times.

When: Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am
Where: Shoreline Trailhead near the North Boat Ramp
Bring: Water, bags for dog poop, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
