Learn how to make dyes and paints from natural sources
How did the people of the past dye their clothes, flags, and fabrics such amazing colors without modern technology? The answers might be lying right at your feet!
Learn how to make easy paints and dyes from common plants and materials and make some unique art!
Warning: we will be working with potentially strong pigments that can stain skin and clothes.
When: Saturday, June 13th from 1:00pm-2:00pm
Where: Penn Farm
Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Clothes that can potentially be stained. Dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park
