I-Scream for Ice Cream

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Life on the prairie may not have been all games, but it was still fun. Join us for a ranger led program exploring life on the Penn Farm. We will discuss the lives of the Penn family from the chores of the farm to what they did for fun. Come learn how the peoples of the past are not so different from you and I as we all have enjoyed one summertime treat... Ice Cream! 

All supplies provided by the park. 

*Limited Space. Registration Required.* Please register by emailing Thomas McDaniel with your name and number of participants prior to 3:00 PM on Friday, August 9th.

Where: Rec Hall

When: Saturday, August 10th from 11 am - 12 pm.

Bring: Water.

Wear: Dress for the weather, but this event will be indoors. 

Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
