Fall Hike

Crunchy leaves and cooler tempuratures make for an enjoyable outing.

Meet at Pelican Point Day Use Area parking lot - Cedar Creek South Loop Trail Head at 10 a.m.  Join us on a short leisurely hike on Cedar Creek South Loop. You'll pass through pocket prairies that are full of life. Enjoy views of the lakeside just off the main trail.

Bring: water, hat, sunscreen, dress for the weather

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
