Join a ranger to learn the basics of kayaking. Instruction will be provided. Limited equipment available. Reserve your kayak today.

Email alicia.o'connor@tpwd.texas.gov or call the park office, (903) 395-3100 to register. Children under 10 cannot ride alone and must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak. Life jackets will be provided and shall be worn by all participants. You are welcome to bring your own kayak(s) and life jackets. Please ask about available kayaks to use when registering.
Meet at Lone Pine Boat Ramp Parking Lot at 2 p.m.
Bring shoes that can get wet, weather appropriate clothing, bug spray, and drinking water.
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass).
