Join us for a viewing of the night sky featuring the Leonid meteor shower. Learn about the showers radiant, its history, and the debris left by Comet Tempel-Tuttle. How many constellations can you name? Ever star hopped?
When: Meet at 6:30 p.m. Where: Park at the South end of the Gulls Bluff Boat Launch near the entrance to the parking lot. Accessibility: Accessible parking available at the Gulls Bluff Boat Launch Parking Lot. This program takes place on a flat surface and driving distance to a restroom. For accessibility questions, email alicia.o'connor@tpwd.texas.gov Bring: Dress for the weather, bring a lawn chair, and binoculars if you have them. Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass.
