First Day Hike

Recover from the holidays by joining us for a First Day Hike on New Year's Day!

Start your year out by taking a healthy step into nature with us!  We will be hiking through our enchanting cathedral of trees. Bring your family, friends, and fur babies with you to enjoy the fun too!  (All dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please pick up after them.) 

If you can't join us here, this is a statewide event at many of our Texas State Parks.

Meet us at the Main Trailhead in the Day-use Area at 2 pm to join the easy hike on the 2.4-mile Rustling Leaves Trail around Lake Daingerfield.

Remember to bring water and wear clothes appropriate for the weather!

Entrance Fees: $4 per adult (age 13+); children 12 years and younger are free.
