Come celebrate Earth's special day at our park!
"Our Power, Our Planet" is this year's Earth Day motto. Since 1970, nature lovers have been honoring Planet Earth every April 22nd. Come learn about our special Sky Island oasis.
10 - 11am - Chihuahuan Desert Plant Walk (Explore the park's spring blooms & Pollinator Garden)
11am - 12pm - Plant a seed! (Receive a plant cup, soil, and native plant see to take home)
Meet: at the Interpretive Center
Bring: walking shoes, hat, sunscreen
Cost: free for campers or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Parks Pass
