First Day Horse Ride to the Overlook

Bring your horse and join Eagle Eye Ranch for a guided horse ride to the Overlook!

Note: You need to bring your own horse and meet down at Eagle Eye Ranch no later than 9:45 am! If you arrive after they have left, you will not be permitted to ride to the Overlook and are restricted to the Equestrian Area.

Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get into the park! Park Rangers must check current proof of Coggins for each horse coming into the park.

Meet: Eagle Eye Ranch no later than 9:45 am

Distance:  About 4 miles (round trip)

Difficulty: Moderate

Bring: Current proof of Coggins for each horse, plenty of water, close-toed shoes, and Dino Valley maps provided upon entry.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
