Directions:

The park is located four miles west of Glen Rose. Take U.S. Highway 67 to FM 205 for four miles to Park Road 59; then go one mile to the headquarters. Use the honor box located at headquarters to pay fees after office hours.

Park is open:
7 a.m. – 10 p.m. unless camping overnight

HQ is open: 
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

 

For after-hours visitors with reservations, a list with site assignments will be posted on the sliding glass door at the Park Headquarters. Maps are located in the top compartment of the self-pay station. It is highly recommended you arrive at least one hour before dark if you are camping in the Primitive hike-in sites.  Visitors arriving after-hours must use the self-pay station and register at the Park Headquarters by 9 a.m. the next morning.
