Angler Education Instructor Training Workshop; Two-Part, Online

Become a TPWD Certified Angler Education Instructor

This fun, free, hands-on workshop is open to Texas residents 18 or older interested in learning and teaching fishing skills in their communities. No fishing experience required! After certification, the program provides the curriculum, equipment (where available), materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce others to fishing. Ideal for fishing clubs, teachers, scout, or youth group leaders, after school or camp staff and community volunteers. TEA-approved CPE available for teachers.

Dates: Wednesday, February 18th and Thursday, February 19th
Time: 6pm - 8:30pm each day

You must attend both sessions to become certified and have a current TPWD online volunteer profile (a profile can be created during the sign-up process). Make up sessions are not available.

The workshop includes interactive sessions that require all participants to be on camera with a mic and speakers.
