Become a TPWD Certified Angler Education Fly Fishing Instructor
This free workshop is only open to participants 18 and older that have fly fishing experience and are interested in teaching fly fishing skills in their communities. Preregistration is required and is limited to 15 attendees- see below.
Participants will need to bring their own fly rod & reel with complete line setup to use during the workshop. The workshop will present fly fishing teaching methods in casting, aquatic ecology, line setup and flies, and educational resources available through the TPWD Angler Education Program. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear for outdoor activities, bring a lunch, water bottle and sunscreen.
Pre-registration is required and is limited to 15 attendees. Courses may be canceled due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control.
