Get ready for a fin-tastic morning at Adam Orgain Park! Our annual Catfish Derby kicks off at 8am on Saturday, June 6.
With 2,000 catfish stocked in our ponds, there are plenty of opportunities to test your angling skills and enjoy a great day outdoors with family and friends.
Anglers of all ages are welcome (adult supervision is required for children). Grab your gear, your lucky hat, and a comfortable chair! While we encourage catch-and-release to help sustain a healthy fish population for the future, those opting to keep their catch must follow Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. regulations.
Fishing licenses are not required on free fishing day.
