Professional development for classroom educators, pre-service teachers, homeschool parents, and informal educators such as scout leaders, summer camp staff, youth groups. This workshop will cover Project WILD and Project WET.

Project WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. Project WET is a curriculum focused on water conservation, water education, and environmental stewardship. You will experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators. 

Workshop participants receive:

  • 6 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
  • Project WILD & Project WET K-12 guides
  • Texas-specific resources

Please dress for indoor and outdoor learning - wear closed toed shoes and pants. Lunch will not be provided so please plan to bring something or pick up something quickly during the lunch hour.

$55 preregistration is required. Deadline August 14, 2024

Fee is for WILD training. WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training.  Attendance and participation in the entire experience are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
