First Day B.A.R.K. Ranger Hike

Kick off the New Year with your four-legged friend!
Join a park ranger for a tail-wagging adventure as we ring in the New Year on the trails! Along the way, we will share facts about local wildlife, park history, and how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly with your canine companion.
At the end of the hike, dogs can earn their official B.A.R.K. Ranger certificate, and their human companions will earn a First Day Hike sticker!
Meet: Swim Beach Parking Lot
Hike Info: This is a moderate, 1-mile round trip hike. Depending on conditions, some areas could be muddy or slippery, so use caution.
Bring: Water for you and your pup, close-toed shoes, and warm layers!
Cost: Free with park admission. $5 per person 13 and up, free for children 12 and under. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
