Self(ie) Guided First Day Hikes

Celebrate the first day of 2026 by taking a hike at Eisenhower State Park!

Hike any section of our trail and take a selfie with something that inspires you to stick to your resolutions! Come up to park headquarters before they close at 4:30 PM and show us your selfie to receive your first day hike sticker.

When? All day Jan. 1, 2026

Audience: All ages are welcome! Pets must remain on a leash.

Wear: Weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.

Fees: Free with park admission. $5 per person 13 and up, free for children 12 and under. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
