Herp Hike

Join Rangers for a morning hike to spot some of the reptiles and amphibians of the park. REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Bring your hiking boots, sun protection, and sense of curiosity for this guided hike with a focus on the herpetology of the park! 

Meet: Gazebo at Summit Trailhead

Bring: Water, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, comfortable hiking shoes. 

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Purchase day passes online ahead of time to guarantee entry. 

Registration: Email Hannah Pickens ahead of time to reserve your spot. Registration will be capped at 15 attendees.
