Join a ranger for an introduction to astronomy at our beloved Dark Sky Park.
Join a ranger for an introduction to astronomy in the perfect setting- a Dark Sky Park! This program is kid-friendly and will take place in parking lot 1. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own telescopes and/or binoculars for viewing celestial objects.
Park: Parking lot 2 (Summit Trailhead).
Meet: Parking lot 1.
Bring: Lawn chairs, binoculars, telescopes, binoculars
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Purchase day passes online ahead of time to guarantee entry.
