Fireworks at the Fisheries

After a long renovation and closure, the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center will once again host one of the community’s favorite traditions, Fireworks at the Fisheries, on Sunday, July 6.

Admission is free beginning at 5 p.m., with the fireworks show scheduled to begin just after dark. Families are invited to enjoy fishing, food vendors, and the newly-updated facilities at TFFC!

The Angler’s Pavilion will be open until 8:30 p.m. for those who wish to borrow poles and fish. A fishing license isn't required, and you are welcome to bring your own poles and bait. Standard fishing guidelines remain in place:

  • Hooks must be single and barbless, or have barbs smashed flat.
  • Cut bait and live freshwater organisms are not allowed.

Food vendors scheduled to participate include 6 Forks Pizza, Pork Commander BBQ, Kona Ice, and Sippin’ Sisters Lemonade.

Please leave these items at home, as they are not allowed on TFFC property:

  • pets
  • alcohol
  • tobacco products
  • pop-up canopies

Expect heavy traffic, and allow extra time. Please follow traffic signs for your safety.
