Join rangers as we explore the flora of the Big Bend and work with a special guest to make our own forever flowers out of corn husks.
Big Bend Ranch is a very special place with over 59 cacti species and 1,300 plants. Come learn about the flora and join park ranger Arian and a special guest who will show us how to make forever flowers out of corn husks. These colorful flowers can then be given to a special person in your life and forever remind you of Big Bend Ranch.
When: Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10 AM.
Where: Fort Leaton State Historic Site
What to Bring: Water bottle and all other materials will be provided for you.
Cost: This event is free with park admission, $5 per person 13 and older. Park Admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
