12 Days of Christmas Fun!
Purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to take a First Day Hike at Chinati Mountains State Natural Area. This special place is not yet open to the public. You could be one of the first visitors!

Raffle runs through Dec. 13.
- Starting Dec. 14, we will choose one person each day of the 12 days of Christmas.

The hike is 3.5 miles one-way to Casa Bavisa, 7 miles round trip.

It is an easy-to-moderate hike with some difficulty due to the length and hilly terrain.

Trip hazards, snakes and additional hazards are possible since this is not an established trail.
