As part of International Dark Sky Week, the McDonald observatory, Big Bend Ranch State Park and host Far Flung outdoor center will be setting up telescopes for the public to use.
As part of the McDonald Observatory Dark Sky Festival, the Far Flung outdoor center will be hosting a star party. Big Bend Ranch State Park rangers will have the 6” Dobsonian telescope for your use. The event is to help spread awareness of the Dark Sky initiatives in our surrounding communities and to learn different ways to improve your outdoor lighting.

What: Bring your own chair, water bottle, and dress for the weather.
