First Day Hike - Prickly Pear

Ring in the New Year right with a First Day Hike!

Join our rangers for a refreshing early morning hike on the Prickly Pear Trail (1.5 miles round trip) and enjoy a beautiful start to the new year in nature.

Things you should know:
Meet: Interpretive Parking lot
Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots, water, and weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.).
Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
