Nature Journaling
Fri, May 02, 2025
Slow down and deepen your experience of the natural world with mindful observations.
Would you like to explore some techniques for improving memory, expressing creativity, building scientific skills, and increasing your connection to nature? Journaling regularly can do all this and more. We’ll help you get started with tools, a variety of journaling prompts, and a non-judgmental, sharing atmosphere.
Things You Should Know:
Who Is Invited: This activity is open to ages 10 and up and includes both a seated activity and a short hike. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.

You are welcome to bring your own art colored pencils if you’d like. Dress for hiking outdoors. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, bug spray and a hat are recommended. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person.
