Come walk with an adoptable shelter dog!
Join us for an easy 1-mile walk around the park with a shelter dog by your side.
Whether you're looking to adopt or just want some tail-wagging company, come say hello. We’d love to see you there!
*Please note: Participation may be impacted by the number of dogs available.
Meet: Historic Parade Grounds
Bring: drinking water and lots of love to offer to the homeless dogs
Cost: Free; let our park staff know at the office that you are joining for the event.
We are partnering with the City of Jacksboro Animal Shelter and Friends of Jacksboro Animal Shelter.
