Scorpion Scavenger Hunt

Join us for a scorpion scavenger hunt!

Bring an ultraviolet flashlight (Black light) and join us in searching for scorpions along the trail in this evening hike! After a brief overview of scorpions and how to look for them with a UV flashlight, participants will join our rangers in hiking along Lost Creek Nature Trail (Approximately 1 mile).

Things You Should Know:

Meet: Group Pavilion Parking lot
Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a red light headlamp/flashlight, and a UV flashlight.
Cost: Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before the event)
