Halloween is here! And that means creepy critter talk!
Come out to the park and learn about the creepy critters that call the Franklin Mountains home and participate in our spooky games!
Halloween Fest will be at the park’s visitor center area from 9am to noon.
Activities include:
- Educational booths
- Witch hat ring toss
- Boo-wling
- Carved pumpkin contest – must bring your pumpkin carved and ready to display by 8:45am (winners will be announced at 12pm); the park will not be providing pumpkins. You must call the park to sign up.
- Halloween hike at Nature Walk Trail at 9:30am; Halloween costume encouraged. You must sign up for it at the park.
- Halloween bike rides (2) at Beginner's Loop at 9:30am; must bring your own bicycle. Halloween costume encouraged. You must sign up for it at the park.
Fee: $5.00 per adult 13 years of age and older, $0.00 for Texas State Park Pass holders and children between the ages of 5 and 12.
