Join us for a fascinating journey through the history of Galveston Island State Park as we celebrate its 50th anniversary! "50 Years Through the Ages" is an immersive event that takes you on a deep dive into the rich history of our beloved park, from its founding to today.

- Guest Speakers: Hear from historians, park rangers, and special guests who will share fascinating stories, insights, and milestones from the park's 50-year journey. Learn about the park’s role in preserving the island's natural beauty, its cultural significance, and its transformation over the years.
- Hands-On Activities: Step into the past with hands-on activities that let you experience history up close! Explore the park’s natural resources, try out traditional skills, and discover what life was like at the park decades ago.
- Interactive Exhibits: Explore exhibits that bring the park’s history to life, featuring photos, artifacts, and even stories from longtime visitors and park staff.
- Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.
