Geocaching 101 with GINTC at East End Lagoon Nature Preserve
Tue, February 10, 2026
Embark on a high tech treasure hunt! *Program location is at The East End Lagoon Nature Preserve outside of the park.
We’re excited to team up with the Galveston Island Nature Tourism Council (GINTC) to offer a special edition of Geocaching 101 as part of their Winter Nature Program Series. Together with GINTC, we’ve created a hands‑on adventure featuring a series of temporary caches—each filled with coastal facts, clever clues, and small take‑home treasures.
Join us at the Nature Center for an engaging session where, with support from GINTC, we’ll practice using GPS units, explore budget‑friendly geocaching options, and share ideas for getting kids excited about outdoor exploration.
