Summer Solstice Solar Soiree

Have you ever been told to not stare directly at the sun? Well, what if you could?

You are invited to our Solar Soiree! On this longest day of the year, join us in celebrating the largest star in the sky with solar themed activities. 

Activities include using a telescope with a sun filter to see sunspots, making art with the sun, making s'mores using a solar over and brewing sun tea. 

• Bring: Sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing and shoes. 
• Meet: Beachside Day Use 
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass
