Garner Parksgiving 2025

This is our version of a Thanksgiving celebration. Come celebrate all the things you are thankful for at our potluck feast under the oak tree at the park pavilion.

The meal will be served at 12:15pm at the park pavilion. Meal setup will be at 11:45am. We kindly ask that if you plan on attending you provide a cooked dish in a disposable container that will serve all at least 12 people. 

To do our best making the meal filling as possible we have provided the following guide for what to bring by location:

• Live Oak – dessert
• Persimmon – canned or bottled drinks
• River Crossing – bread, rolls, or cornbread
• Shady Meadows – main course dish
• Pecan Grove – side dish
• Oakmont – side dish
• Rio Frio – side or main course dish 

Disposable plates, utensils and cups will be provided. Please ensure all food is prepared and ready to serve upon arrival.  Have food in place by 12:15 pm. Seating may be limited. Bring your camping chairs.
