Pumpkin Painting

Break out your creativity and paint a pumpkin! Will you be a lucky winner taking home a prize?
Will you choose a spooky theme or a nature scene? Something from history or something with more mystery? Whatever your inspiration, we'll have paints, googly eyes, stickers, and more to help you bring your idea to life!
Bring your own pumpkin or email emily.byrd@tpwd.texas.gov to reserve a pumpkin! We will have a limited number of pumpkins available courtesy of the Amigos of Goliad State Park.
After decorating, you can enter your pumpkin in the contest with hopes of being a lucky winner of a State Parks Gift Card sponsored by the Amigos of Goliad State Park! Participants can take their pumpkins to continue decorating until 2pm.
Voting will begin at 2pm and conclude at 4pm, with the votes being counted and announced immediately after counting. You do not need to be present to win, but your pumpkin does!
Program takes place on the mission grounds.
Program is free with park entrance ($4 per person, free for kids 12 & under).
