Learn the fascinating story of Saint Francis, founder of the Franciscan Order of friars who would cross the globe to convert Native Americans to Catholicism.
Saint Francis of Assisi was born into a life of luxury but chose a life of poverty. After stealing from his father, he hit a turning point that would send him seeking a life of giving, understanding, and humility. A vision of Jesus, the stigmata, the first Nativity, a deep connection with nature, and a life of selflessness helped define a man whose legacy has lived for hundreds of years and travelled thousands of miles.
