Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a patriotic bird walk!
Join a park ranger for this special edition bird walk where we'll search for birds that match America's colors! All ages and abilities welcome.
When: 9:00-10:30am
Meet: Day Use Picnic Area (north Rec Hall parking lot)
Bring: sun protection, hydration, bug spray, and binoculars. We'll have extra binoculars to loan on a first come first serve basis (adult and kid sizes available)
Wear: Red, white or blue clothing to match the theme!
Accessibility: This program takes place over uneven, grassy terrain. Be prepared to walk up to 1 mile. Email sara.rock@tpwd.texas.gov for information on accessibility options.
Pets: Please leave pets at home for this program.
Cost: Free with entrance permit ($5/adult, kids 12yrs and under FREE).
