Learn about some of the common creatures of Goose Island State Park.

What do raccoons eat? How do bobcat teeth look? Are there venomous snakes in the park? Learn the answers to all these questions and more at our Skins and Skulls discovery table!

Age: This program is great for kids, but all ages welcome!
Accessibility: Accessible parking available. This program takes place over an uneven, grassy area. Email questions to sara.rock@tpwd.texas.gov 
Cost: Programs are free with park entrance permit

FYI:

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
  • Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
  • Groups larger than eight please contact Ranger Sara for a private event (sara.rock@tpwd.texas.gov)
  • Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
