CANCELLED--100 S'more Years at Government Canyon SNA - "S'maquifers"

Join us in celebrating 100 years of Texas State Parks by making s'mores and swapping stories by the fire.

This event has been cancelled due to a burn ban.

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s’mores with family or friends?

Join us at 8 pm at the Group Picnic Pavilion. There will be a short presentation about s'mores and aquifers before we build our own edible and delicious "s'maquifers." Materials will be provided (thanks to the Friends of Government Canyon!). After the presentation the format will be "come-and-go" while supplies last or until 9:30 pm.

Open to all ages; minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.

Registration/reservations for this program are NOT required! Though the program is free, Natural Area entry fees apply.  To ensure entrance and save time at the Fee Booth, please pre-purchase and PRINT OUT a Day Pass.
