Sat, October 07, 2023
Join dedicated volunteers for a special edition of our monthly First Saturday Guided Hike.
Did you know that Government Canyon State Natural Area will be in the perfect path for viewing the two upcoming Solar Eclipses on Oct. 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024? Join us for October’s First Saturday Hike where we will explore how eclipses were regarded through the ages.
We will travel through time with a voyage to the dinosaur tracks, a visit to one of our founding family’s homes and a stop at the site of an indigenous people’s encampment. Along the way, we will discuss eclipse fact and fiction. The stuff legends are made of!!
