Come out to Government Canyon State Natural Area and connect with nature using your artistic side.
Join a State Parks Ambassador to learn about the significance of arts in parks and then use the provided watercolor supplies to connect with nature.
Meet at the Group Picnic Pavilion at 3:30PM.
Participants' paintings may even get the chance to be featured on a Natural Area trail bulletin board!
Though the program is free, entrance fees to the Natural Area do apply. Plan to arrive early. To ensure entrance and save time at the Fee Booth, please pre-purchase and print out a day pass.
Dress for the outdoors; Bring water and a snack if you wish.
