Sounds of the Night & Guided Night Walk

Learn how to identify common animals by the sounds they make at night and then go on a guided night walk to try to hear them!

Have you ever heard a strange, unfamiliar, scary or funny noise outdoors at nighttime? Join Rangers Jessica and Katy to learn about common "sounds of the night" made by resident animals of Guadalupe River State Park! Then, embark on a guided night walk (~1 mile) to try to hear them!

Meet: Amphitheater behind the Discovery Center
Bring: Your family, flashlight/headlamp (preferably with a red lens) and curiosity!
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
