Little Naturalist Preschool Classes

Experience Guadalupe River State Park as an outdoor classroom in this program for preschool-age kids!

Embark on a journey of discovery and wonder with our engaging and enriching Little Naturalist Preschool Classes designed specifically for preschoolers up to 5 years old. Our aim is to foster a deep appreciation for the natural world while igniting curiosity and a sense of exploration in our young learners. A different topic is featured each week, so don’t miss out!

09/13- Fish
09/27- Fall is in the Air
10/11- Monarch Butterflies
10/25- Bats
11/08- Deer
11/22- Turkeys
12/13- Winter is Coming

Registration: Program is limited to 20 students. Register here.
Please register only if you are sure your child can attend. If your plans change, email jessica.bergner@tpwd.texas.gov to cancel so that another child can have that spot. There is no waitlist.

Prepare: Dress for the weather and bring water
Where: Meet at the amphitheater behind the Discovery Center
Fees: None; Entry fees will be waived under an educational waiver for the student and their parent or guardian.
