Spring Break Birding 101

Learning to observe our feathery residents.

Birding is a great recreational activity that combines the fun of a treasure hunt and the challenge to identify. It is a great learning opportunity for all the adaptations of birds to their environment.

This activity will be next to the Boat Ramp so we can watch water birds as well as birds in the trees. Binoculars, bird guides and checklists will be available to use. Other bird activities will be available. Bring water and wear weather/activity appropriate gear. This activity is free with your day pass. This program is weather dependent, please follow us on social media for updates. This program is accessible with parking and sidewalks nearby.
