Hike, bike, or run the newly re-opened Triple C Trail!

After nearly ten years of closure, the Triple C Trail is officially fully reopened! Join us for the Triple C Challenge and be among the first to hike, bike, or run the newly re-opened trail. Local organizations will have booths set up near the starting area for you to explore, connect, and learn more about our outdoor community.
As the longest — and most historic — trail in Huntsville State Park, Triple C winds along the park's border for about 8.5 miles round trip. It's a route full of history, character, and beautiful views, offering a quieter, more rugged experience than some of our other trails.

Use discretion when attempting the trail: The Triple C is still in its "recovery" phase. Since it hasn't seen regular use in a decade, the goal of the Triple C Challenge is to re-introduce steady foot traffic to help establish and shape the trail. This trail is rougher around the edges with more rocks and heavier vegetation, compared to our other trails. This program is weather dependent, please follow us on Facebook for the latest. This program is not accessible as the trail is rough with exposed roots.
