Night Hike

Explore the park after dark!

Have you ever hiked at night? Join a park ranger for a hike on north Onion Creek Trail and let's see what we can see and learn about nocturnal wildlife. All ages welcome. 

Total distance for this hike is slightly over 1 mile (round-trip). The trail does not have major inclines, but may be uneven in places.

Meet: At The Horn Tunnel. Parking is available there. Restrooms are located at the campground, swim beach, and boat ramp.

What to bring: A flashlight or headlamp (red light is recommended so your eyes can adjust to the darkness, but not required).

This program is free to attend with paid park entrance or a Texas State Park Pass.
